Event Description
The premier training of its kind, CTA’s Summer Institute takes place at The Westin Bonaventure, Downtown Los Angeles. Offering sessions in a variety of areas that assist chapter leaders in the day-to-day representation of their members, this five-day event will feature hands-on activities to hone the skills needed to meet the challenges of the coming year.
This year the Summer Institute offers ten full-week trainings with instruction that spans Wednesday to Sunday. Participants register for the training of their choice. Some sessions fill up quickly, so it is important to register as early as possible. You may be waitlisted if your first choice is not available at registration. You will be given the opportunity to register for other available trainings while you are waitlisted for your first choice.

Animal Accommodation Policy
The California Teachers Association (CTA) is committed to ensuring that all attendees of its conferences and meetings have equal access and opportunity to participate in these events. This document outlines the policy and procedures for reasonably accommodating disabled attendees who require the use of assistive animals at CTA conferences and other events. This policy also recognizes that for the health and safety of all attendees and to avoid disruptions at CTA conferences and meetings, pets are not permitted in conference and meeting spaces.

THE UNTOLD TRUE STORY OF A BROOKLYN KID WHO BECAME A CHART-BUSTING, SHOW-STOPPING, AWARD-WINNING AMERICAN ICON
Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE is the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chart-busting, show-stopping American rock icon. With 120 million albums sold, a catalogue of classics like “America,” “Forever in Blue Jeans,” and “Sweet Caroline,” an induction into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, a Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award, and sold-out concerts around the world that made him bigger than Elvis, Neil Diamond’s story was made to shine on Broadway-and head out on the road across America.
Like Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical before it, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL is an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir, that tells the untold true story of how America’s greatest hitmaker became a star, set to the songs that defined his career.
