Event Description

Membership will be the highlight for this conference. We’ll also be highlighting our “We Honor Ours” (WHO) Award winners Saturday night with a plated dinner. This is a special program which honors our own local and state union leaders. Finally, we will hold our last Council of the academic year.

Expense Reimbursement Guidelines for 2024 CCA Spring Conference

For the 2024 Spring Conference, CCA will reimburse the following expenses for all of the following:
State Council delegates, CCA board members, Academy participants, CCA awardees, and official delegates from a local on the delegate list submitted by the local president will have their expenses reimbursed as per the CCA standing rules.
Reimbursable Expenses: Must be submitted on an MES along with itemized receipt(s).
• Full cost of a single-occupancy hotel room at the conference rate
Round-trip mileage from home to the airport or the hotel
• Airport or hotel parking
• Coach airfare
• Lyft/Uber/taxi as necessitated for travel
THESE MEALS ARE NOT REIMBURSABLE FOR ANY ATTENDEES, INCLUDING GUESTS, AS THEY ARE INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and W.H.O. Award banquet, and Sunday breakfast are all included with registration. **Guests of attendees are invited to join us at all of these meals at no cost. The only requirement is they sign in at registration and receive a “Guest” badge. The badge will serve as their entrance to the meals.
**PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ELECT TO NOT PARTAKE OF ANY OF THE ABOVE MEALS, YOU WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED FOR ANY MEALS YOU PURCHASE ON YOUR OWN EITHER FOR YOURSELF OR YOUR GUEST(S)**
$10/day other gratuities (no receipt required)

Health & Safety Policies

The health and safety of attendees, exhibitors and staff are our highest priority. In partnership with hotels, CTA will adhere to all official government and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations.

All attendees, staff, presenters, exhibitors, and invited guests are strongly encouraged to wear a mask on-site in conference-designated programming areas. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is not required to attend the event.

Documents

Session documents will be available in the conference app and attendee hub closer to the start of the conference. You must be logged in to view session documents. Provided documents can be found at the bottom of each session page within the conference app and attendee hub.

Credits

Professional Growth Hours: Professional Growth credit will be available at no cost for CTA members. Confirmation of professional growth hours will be emailed shortly after the conference.

University Credit: The CTA 2023-2024 University Credit Program is a benefit to members attending CTA Conferences during the 2023-2024 school year. CTA Members, through attending in-person or watching CTA Virtual Pass sessions, will be given the opportunity to accumulate the professional growth hours needed to qualify for university credit units with CSU, Chico. As a benefit to members, CTA will cover the $75/unit cost for up to SIX of the (9) university credit units available. The professional growth hours can be accumulated by attending conferences live and/or by watching recordings. By attending this conference in person, members will earn 15 hours of professional growth.
