Event Description

AUDIENCE: CTA Local Chapter Presidents and Vice-Presidents Only.

Join us for the in-person Presidents ConferenceJuly 14-17, 2022. Interactive sessions for new and experienced chapter leaders will provide training designed to enhance your skills as a local president and help build systems of success for your local chapter.

On the horizon are constant challenges to the labor movement that will impact the work we do as an organization. The Presidents Conference will provide new and returning presidents a foundation to rely upon as we prepare our chapters well into the future. This conference will host a variety of informative skill building sessions and provide opportunities to build lasting relationships with other presidents. The content focus and design of Presidents Conference is with chapter operations in mind.

The 2022 Presidents Conference is available to CTA Presidents and Vice-Presidents. Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity!

Please join us at CTA Headquarters in Burlingame on Thursday evening from 5:15-7:00PM for a special “Fun in the Sun” reception; drinks and appetizers provided. The CTA Board of Directors will be providing office tours. Shuttles available to and from the Hyatt and HQ.

If you have any questions, please email the conference staff at PresidentsConference@cta.org.

CTA is offering a no-charge child care program at the 2022 Presidents Conference.  Child care is available to all Presidents Conference attendees who are the primary caregivers of the child(ren) attending Camp CTA for children ages 6 months to 16 years. While you’re attending meetings, your children can enjoy their own Convention Camp, organized by ACCENT on Children’s Arrangements, Inc., a national company specializing in children’s activities. Camp CTA is a complete morning to early evening entertainment program packed with activities. *All children must be preregistered to ensure proper staffing levels. Children participate in age appropriate activities, including arts and crafts projects and active games, in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. The high ratio of caregiver to child (1:2 for children 6 months-12 months, 1:3 for children 13 months-2 years, 1:5 for children 3-5 years, and 1:8 for children 6-16 years) ensures campers receive lots of personal attention.
