On March 28, educators stood shoulder to shoulder with more than 8 million nationwide across the country who have had enough with the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on democracy, public education and our communities. While Trump and republicans spend billions on another illegal war, our colleges go unfunded and our students have needs that go unmet. CCA leaders and CTA State Council of Education joined a massive rally in Downtown Los Angeles, lifting our voices together to shout that in America, there are No Thrones, No Crowns and No Kings.

“The people have the true power!” said CCA President Jon Ausubel. “All across the country, Americans filled the streets in defense of each other and our democracy – and to say ‘no more’ to the extremists who have taken control of our federal government.”
