This is the 2020 theme for Filipino American History Month in October. Filipino Americans have long participated in social justice movements, such as the United Farm Workers movement and the fight for ethnic studies. They’ve stood with other communities in their fights for equity and justice, including the Black Lives Matter, American Indian, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and environmental justice movements.
