The California Teachers Association exists to protect and promote the well-being of its members; to improve the conditions of teaching and learning; to advance the cause of free, universal, and quality public education; to ensure that the human dignity and civil rights of all children and youth are protected; and to secure a more just, equitable, and democratic society.
1. I am enrolled or intend to be enrolled in an accredited school of higher education as a full-time student or as a candidate in a program leading to an approved teaching credential, Pre-K through 12th grade. 2. If I am awarded the Pedretti Scholarship, I understand that no funds shall be transmitted until I provide verification of my enrollment from the registrar of my college or university. 3. I understand that enrollment must be completed within the current calendar year. 4. I understand Pedretti Scholarship funds must be used for education-related expenses only.
