AUDIENCE: CTA Local Chapter Presidents and Vice-Presidents Only.

Join us for the Presidents Conference – Home Edition!July 12-16, 2021. Interactive sessions for new and experienced chapter leaders will provide training designed to enhance your skills as a local president and help build systems of success for your local chapter.

On the horizon are constant challenges to the labor movement that will impact the work we do as an organization. The Presidents Conference will provide new and returning presidents a foundation to rely upon as we prepare our chapters well into the future. This conference will host a variety of informative skill building sessions and provide opportunities to build lasting relationships with other presidents. The content focus and design of Presidents Conference is with chapter operations in mind.

The 2021 Presidents Conference – Home Edition! will be provided free of charge to CTA Presidents and Vice-Presidents. Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity!

Attendee Hub

The Presidents Conference will be hosted online using our Attendee Hub! On the attendee hub you can build your agenda, join all your sessions, meet with exhibitors and more! Please check back for more information and updates.

Fees

  • CTA Members – Complimentary
  • Invited Exhibitor Page – $250 / page
  • Invited Exhibitor Virtual Booth – $500 / virtual booth

Documents

Session documents will be available in the virtual attendee hub within each session closer to the start of the conference.

Credits

University Credit: The University Credit Summer Pass is a benefit available to members attending the Presidents Conference and/or the Summer Institute. CTA Members who attend these virtual conferences live, or watch recordings, can accumulate the 15 hours of professional growth needed to qualify for one university credit unit. As a benefit to members, CTA will cover the cost of that university unit from CSU, Chico, normally $75. More information coming soon.

Professional Growth Hours: Professional Growth credit will be available at no cost for CTA members and will be based on the number of sessions you attend. Confirmation of professional growth hours will be emailed within two to four weeks after the conference.

Activities

The Presidents Conference will host an engaging Social Shuffle Networking Game on Monday, July 12 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. This networking opportunity will offer you a chance to WIN PRIZES and meet fellow CTA leaders!

The CTA Zumba Caucus is also offering a fun morning zumba session on Tuesday, July 13 from 7:45 – 8:15 am.
