Westminster Teachers Association (WTA) members have embraced the spirit of giving as educators joined with local advocates to make the season a truly joyous one for twenty economically-challenged families.

The outreach and generosity of the entire district transformed the Holiday season for these families; gifts donated by WTA members made this year a very special one.

WTA has shared a heartfelt “Thank you” to members whose generous offerings and efforts as “elf volunteers”; they helped with the wrapping, organizing, and delivering of hundreds of packages!

WTA leaders of the effort were pleased with the amount of engagement; efforts by educators to engage challenged families in their education community left a positive impression on both the city and on local union members.

WTA’s family outreach culminates on Friday, December 13th, with a special gathering and dinner for the families at the WTA union office.
