CTA MEMBERS HAVE the power to reclaim the future with a bold vision for public schools in California.

Presidents Conference attendees discussed their visions for fully funded, fully resourced schools.
Public education is under attack. These attacks go after funding for our schools and communities and impact the future of both. At every level — from district budgets to federal funding — these threats aim to disrupt our communities and weaken the foundation of public education. While our students and communities struggle, the wealthiest keep getting wealthier. We are fighting back — and winning!
As we build our collective power, we must also be ready to use that power to enact OUR vision for public schools.
We need to hear from you. Every response will help create our collective vision for the future of public education. At the end of 2026, we’ll compile all of the responses from members and share the results in early 2027. This collective vision will be an anchor as we start new campaigns to win the transformational funding needed to make our vision become a reality for California students and communities.
