WOODBURY ELEMENTARY TEACHER Jennifer Townsend and fellow Garden Grove Education Association members came up with the splendid idea to hold a Day of the Teacher poster contest in their school district (Irving Unified). Students based their work on CTA’s 2023 theme “Planting the Seeds for Growth” and submitted black-and-white drawings. Artwork by grand prize winner Haley Tran will become a poster for each school and a bookmark for each teacher in the district. A few of the winners, below.

It was awesome to see the artwork of the students from the Garden Grove Unified School District. The Community Action Committee of the Garden Grove Education Association holds an Annual Day of theTeacher Poster Contest. Again, it is thrilling to see our students work highlighted by CTA.
