While the future of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) is now in the hands of the Supreme Court of the United States, all current or past Dreamers can apply to renew their DACA status now through June 30, 2020.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is again accepting DACA renewal applications from anyone who currently has or had DACA. Anyone who has not previously had DACA is ineligible to apply. Between Oct. 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020, the DACA protections of 232,000 people will expire. Approximately one-third have already applied for renewal, but as of last month more than 156,000 had yet to do so.
