Doing our part as Californians to combat the COVID-19 pandemic means making tough decisions to protect ourselves, our families and communities. As the situation changes every day, we must also look to the near future and act to protect our voice and votes in November’s Presidential Election.

We want to make sure every vote counts, which is why CTA is joining the Schools & Communities First Coalition in calling for a vote-by-mail election for all voters this November. As we weather this crisis, the votes we cast in this election are so crucial to setting a path forward for ourselves and our students. We must protect each other and our democratic process by ensuring an equitable vote.

Join educators, community groups, our allies in Labor and others across the state in calling on state officials to institute the changes needed to make sure every vote counts in November by signing this petition.

Please share with your friends and on your social networks, and let’s make sure all our voices are heard and all the votes are counted in November!
