March 14 was the one-month anniversary of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The 17 minute walkout honored the 17 lives taken in the tragedy. Organized by the Women’s March. For legal reasons, CTA does not organize for “walk outs,” but supports the rights of students, educators, parents and others to advocate for an end to gun violence in our schools.

Witnessing students across California (and the country!), demanding an end to gun violence in schools was inspiring and gave us hope about the future. Here are a few of the amazing moments from March 14.
