CTA’s California Educator magazine is an award-winning bimonthly publication that showcases CTA members, both inside and outside of school. The digital and print magazine offers tips and tools for your professional development and growth, and includes information about trainings, events and conferences. You can also email your stories, photos and video. Please note:

  • Photos must have identifications and permissions.
  • We publish first-person essays of about 650 words in our “Your Voice” section; these are your views on life and work as an educator “in the trenches” or specific experiences with your students and colleagues.
  • We publish freelance articles on occasion, but prefer that you contact us first.
