DD: I’m Dominic Dirksen.  I teach biology…
CP: I am Carol Peek, I am a campus supervisor.
MM: Martha Millan Schimon…I am a counselor.
BJ: Brandon Jones…a student advisor.
JP: Jessica Pack. I’ve been teaching for eleven years.
JP: When a student understands a concept for the first time, there’s a sense of awe and pride…
BJ: The lightbulb pops on, their eyes get big… 
JP: they have managed to figure out whatever it is that you’re trying to teach them that day.
MM: They’ve come to me and said, “I’ve got it! I’ve got it! I did it!  And I did it all by myself!” That’s the moment when I know they start believing in themselves. 
CP: At our school, we’re like a family.
DD: It’s incredibly important that parents and teachers work together…
JP: …because we both want what is absolutely the best for every child.
CP: And, together, we’re working for the same goal – to make a well-rounded student.
BJ: Being part of a school is like magic.
DD: …you help kids develop…and that’s part of the rush of teaching.
