Congress Delays Debating 'No Child Left Behind,' Again

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) has been pulled from the U.S. Senate's schedule and will no longer be on the floor during June. NEA believes the bill could be heard as early as the week of August 3. Our students have already waited 13+ years. We have to continue to amplify our voices by promoting NEA's letter campaign and tweet your representative tool.

We can't let Congress continue to push off students, and we can't wait for the next school year to pass a bill that truly supports kids and empowers educators to lead. Stay connected to www.getESEAright.com for the latest developments.

Every child deserves a chance to learn and no child succeeds alone.
