Children's Education and Health Care Protection Act Qualifies for Nov. 7 Ballot
Efforts by thousands of CTA and coalition members around the state have begun to pay off. The vital Children’s Education and Health Care Protection Act (CEHCPA) has officially qualified for the ballot.
The measure will keep in force California’s current income taxes on the state’s wealthiest taxpayers. It will help the state’s public schools and children’s health services continue reversing years of and billions of dollars in cuts that have devastated programs serving our young people.
For more information about the measure, check CTA's video on the initiative and read about the initiative on CTA's CEHCP Act page.
