Our group is meeting four times this year. We have already had meetings 1 and 2 on September 17 and November 19, 2014. Our last two meetings, 3 and 4, will be on February 25 and April 20, 2015. We also have 4 field trips a year. For our first we went to The Disney Concert Hall and the Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels for tours. Our next is on January 21, 2015 to the Chen Gallery in Torrance. The third field trip will be on March 18, 2015 to Descanso Gardens, La Canada. The last trip of the year is on May 20, 2015 to the Autry Museum, near Griffith Park. Our field trips are always announced by email. If you want to be notified, please contact Julie Witter, our secretary, at lwitter@socal.rr.com.

Our meetings start at 10:30am and last until 12:30pm. We generally stay for a potluck luncheon together for our social hour.

Healdsburg Retired Teachers Association CTA/NEA-Retired
The HRTA membership is only drawn from Healdsburg teaching retirees. We meet yearly, at a minimum, and have a Healdsburg retired teachers/administrators/classified luncheon in the fall. The purpose of our unit is to maintain a watchful eye on our lifetime health benefits. We have had some issues along the way and, although at the moment we think things are safe, we think it unwise to cease our vigilance. For more information, please feel free to contact Carolyn Moore, President, at carolynmoore07@comcast.net.
