A reminder from your CTA Member Benefits Department

Don’t Forget! Within the first 120 days of employment , new educators are eligible to enroll in the CTA Group Life Insurance Plan, for up to $200,000 worth of coverage, and the CTA Group Disability Insurance Plan with no health evidence required.

All CTA members participating in either the CTA Voluntary Disability Plan or the Voluntary Life Insurance Plan are eligible to participate in the CTA Health Information and Well-Baby Program at no additional cost. Enrollment will be accepted through the 20th week of pregnancy; however, members are encouraged to enroll within their first trimester to obtain the full benefit potential of this program. One-time late enrollment will be accepted for new members who enroll within the first 120 days of employment. The Well-Baby Program provides excellent resources, including a 24-hour toll-free nurse line with specialized nurses available for any of your health questions or concerns. Your very own obstetrical nurse will contact you throughout your pregnancy and for up to three months postpartum.
