CTA's School Safety/School Management Committee has produced a guide to assist chapter leaders and members in ensuring a safe school environment.
The "Teacher's Guide to School Safety" is a pocket-sized pamphlet containing summaries of California laws pertaining to student discipline, campus disruptions, violence prevention, injury and illness prevention, facilities and school site security.
The committee believes teachers need to be vigilant and informed to keep schools safe.
