All kinds of families

That's a Family! is an award-winning film for students in grades K-6, which features children speaking in their own words about growing up in families headed by single parents, divorced parents, parents of different races and religions, guardians, adoptive parents, and gay or lesbian parents.

Copies of the video, as well as a curriculum guide for teachers and training on the issues presented in it, are available to public schools free of charge from the Respect for All Project.

The film has received acclaim from the National Conference of Mayors, the Child Welfare League of America and NEA.
