The Guide to Online High School Courses is a booklet designed to help teachers understand what constitutes quality online courses.
A collaboration between NEA, Virtual High School Inc. and other organizations, the booklet explains the standards being established to make such programs effective. It poses relevant questions for those who teach and manage online courses - as well as questions for students who may take them. In addition, it looks at online curriculum, instructional design, teacher quality, student roles, assessment, management, support systems and technical infrastructure.
