Overcoming Dyslexia

What did Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein and General George Patton have in common? All of them had dyslexia. In fact, many of the world's smartest people gained their creative powers from the same perceptual talent that hinders book learning, contends The Gift of Dyslexia by Ron Davis.

Davis is the founder of the Reading Research Council's Dyslexia Correction Center in Burlingame, a counseling agency that has enabled more than 1,000 people to read, write and study normally. The author himself has dyslexia and was labeled as a dummy at home and learning disabled at school.

The center will distribute 2,000 copies of the publication, which normally sells for $14.95, to teachers free of charge upon request. The book offers techniques to enable non-readers and dyslexics to read and comprehend with ease. For information, call (888) 999-3324.
