Yes on Prop. 26

LET'S FIX OUR SCHOOLS
Reduces the two-thirds vote requirement for passage of local bonds to a simple majority; establishes strict accountability for local bonds; makes it easier to invest in our kids' education; enhances student achievement.

Yes on Prop. 14

LIBRARY BOND ACT - Funds new libraries and renovates existing facilities; encourages partnerships with local school districts; targets funding to vital needs, not administrative overhead.

No on Prop. 20

LOTTERY FUNDS FOR TEXTBOOKS - Takes away school districts' discretion to use lottery funds for programs that best meet the needs of their students.

No on Prop. 21

PETE WILSON'S JUVENILE CRIME ACT - Puts children in jail and throws away the key as the only solution for juvenile violence when a much more comprehensive solution is needed.

No on Prop. 22

LIMITS ON MARRIAGE (THE KNIGHT INITIATIVE) - Introduces government intrusion into private lives and choices; increases the rhetoric of hate and intolerance; threatens hospital visitation rights, inheritance rights, and other rights and protections that people in a committed relationship deserve.

No on Prop. 25

UNZ/MILLER CAMPAIGN FINANCE - Severely limits the political activities of unions and increases the strength of wealthy individuals; attempts to silence the voice of working families.
