CTA and California Nurses Association Coalition -- "Really Special"

Male VO: Governor Schwarzenegger said he would go to Sacramento and fight the special interests…

Female VO:
…but we didn't know he meant fighting California's nurses and teachers.

Male VO:
It's true, the Governor has called our nurses and teachers "special interests we need to battle."

Female VO:
Special interests we need to battle ? Classroom teachers and nurses are the bedrock of our communities.

Teacher:
"I'm a first grade teacher and my only agenda is fighting to improve the conditions in my classroom so my kids get every opportunity they deserve…"

Nurse :
"Imagine, our Governor called nurses like me "special interests" after he stopped the new nurse's staffing law that would have improved patient care. But Schwarzenegger doesn't say a word about his own donations from the big drug and insurance companies - the real special interests that run Sacramento.

Male VO: Teachers and nurses aren't "special interests" you need to "battle," Governor Schwarzenegger they're at the heart of our communities…

Female VO:
…working to improve our heath care and strengthen our local schools.

Male VO:
Paid for by the California Teachers Association and the California Nurses Association.
