CTA/NEA-Retired to elect officers and State Council alternates
Jan. 29 is the deadline to submit nominations for CTA/NEA-Retired state officers and State Council alternates. State Council alternates shall serve when an elected representative in that region cannot attend a meeting.
Anyone wishing to run for a position should complete the Declaration of Candidacy form (check the hard copy of the Dec. 09/Jan. 10 issue of California Educator magazine) and return it to the address on the form.
Terms, which begin June 26, are two years for state officers and three years for State Council alternates.
The ballot including names of the candidates and their campaign statements will be mailed to members in February. For more information, call (650) 552-5468.
