Burlingame Elementary School District and its teacher have reached a tentative, three-year contract agreement on which the Board of Trustees will vote tonight.
If approved, the agreement with the Burlingame Education Association would cover the current school year through 2014-15, according to a staff report. The tentative agreement calls for a retroactive 2 percent salary raise, a 1 percent one-time payment and paid increase in medical benefits, according to a staff report. It also includes a new teacher evaluation system created by a joint group of administrators and teachers.
