As another school year comes to a close, public school teachers are proud of their priorities in schools across the state. It's hard to imagine our classrooms without the leadership of California's educators. We know every child's education must be well-rounded. Including music, art and P.E. Because teaching to a standardized test isn't the answer. We know what resources our students and schools need. Schools must be well-funded to keep class-sizes small. And, college should be affordable to all students. And for students who don't choose college, there should be technical training and career education to prepare everyone to compete in today's economy. So, if you have a question about your local school...or education in California...ask a teacher. Paid for by the California Teachers Association...educators who know quality public schools build stronger local communities and make a better California for all of us.
