Public School Teachers Explain Why CA Needs Prop 24

Yes on Prop 24 Radio Ad "Warning Bell":Public school teachers explain why California needs Prop 24. I can’t believe that giant corporations are getting tax breaks when schools are getting their budgets cut and cut and cut again. Our library’s only open one day a week and some kids in my class, that’s the only library they ever get to visit. Some of these students don’t have the same options as other students and when you cut the budget…then you cut their opportunities. But we can change all that by passing Prop 24. Prop 24 repeals the new tax giveaways Sacramento politicians want to give to the state’s wealthiest corporations…a backroom deal that will result in even more teacher layoffs and larger class sizes. Prop 24 repeals the unfair corporate giveaway and puts our priorities first. Kids should be the priority. Vote Yes on Prop 24 because it’s time to give our schools a break, not the big corporations. | Paid for by Yes on 24. The Tax Fairness Act. Sponsored by Taxpayers and Public Employee Groups, California Teachers Association Issues PAC and America’s Families First, Inc.
