CTA legislative advocates joined a group of nearly 60 stakeholders called together by Assembly Member Bob Wieckowski (D-Fremont) to begin discussions on how to reduce costs for higher education. Assembly Member Wieckowski is introducing legislation aimed at helping, including AB 233, a bill to stop creditors from garnishing the wages of recent graduates.
