FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sacramento - The Alliance for a Better California today announced the launch of www.BetterCA.com, a new online community dedicated to building the grassroots efforts of the millions of Californians who have spoken out against the bad ideas that Governor Schwarzenegger has put on the November ballot.
As part of the official launch, the coalition alerted hundreds of thousands of Alliance members to log onto the site and participate in online blogs and forums.
BetterCA.com will allow concerned citizens across California to stay involved and informed throughout this Special Election campaign and beyond. BetterCA.com will allow activists to:
"Get Local" - Learn about the local rallies, protests, precinct walks, speakers trainings and other efforts to defeat the Governor's agenda locally.
"Get Informed" - Learn about the latest news developments in the campaign, and download the latest information about the initiatives on the November ballot.
"Get Together" - Connect with other activists and share views with online blogs, online forums and e-mail updates.
The Governor wants to continue to take California in the wrong direction, but our coalition of firefighters, teachers, nurses, police officers, public employees, community advocates, religious leaders and other local organizations are mobilizing online and on the streets to defeat this damaging agenda.
