January 2014 State Council: What to Expect

 

VOTING AT STATE COUNCIL

State Council representatives will be ratifying the recommendation for the following office:
• State Assembly candidate recommendation for the December 3, 2013 Special Primary Election.
 
PAPER REDUCTION INITIATIVE AT STATE COUNCIL

In an effort to reduce the amount of paper used for State Council meetings, the following documents will be sent via email to State Council members on Wednesday, January 22, 2014:

• Candidate Campaign Flyers (if any)
• Legislative Update
• CTA Standing Rule Changes (if any)
• Member Expense Statement
• Member Reimbursement Request for Family Care Services
• Restaurant Listing & Downtown L.A. Map
• Excerpts from CTA Standing Rules 3-3 and 3-1
• Special Rules of Procedures
• CTA Calendar
• CTA Conference & Meeting Flyers/Brochures
• Table of Parliamentary Motions
• Elections Financial Disclosure Report
• Hotel Map
 
The following documents will be available for pick-up by State Council members on the materials tables outside of the California Ballroom on Friday evening starting at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday morning starting at 7:30 a.m.:

• State Council Program
• The State Council Board Report
• The Treasurer’s Report
• State Council Minutes
• Member Expense Statement (Saturday A.M.)
• Election Notice and Sample Ballot
• Urgent Care Flyer
• Overflow Parking Flyer

The Friday Day and Evening Programs and the Saturday Morning Subcommittee Meeting listing (green sheet) will be strategically placed and accessible to CTA members at various locations in the hotel on Friday during the day and available in the CTA registration area on Friday night.
