My picture is about César Chávez walking from Delano to Sacramento. People were hurting their necks and backs from picking grapes, peppers, tomatoes, and carrots. César wanted to make changes for the farmers to earn more money. This strike lasted five years and everyone heard about it. César Chávez went to the Capital of Sacramento. He told everyone who worked there that he wanted to make a change, so he signed a contract. He went to tell the people he marched with, that he got the contract. So they finally had a celebration.

Every child deserves a chance to learn and no child succeeds alone.
