Teen driver safety program looks to engage students and save lives
All it takes sometimes is a second of distraciton fiddlig with a cell phone or iPod behind the wheel to propet a driver into a serious, life-altering car accident. In a society as techologically geared up as ours, with every manner of electronic and mechanical gadgetry at our fingertips, driver distraction is becoming a very real issue. To honor California Teen Safe Driving Week March 9-13, about 16,000 classroom packets and Impact Teen Drivers t-shirts were sent to every public high school in California targeting sophomors and new drivers.
