Participants will understand how Webb's four Depth of Knowledge (DOK) levels grow in cognitive complexity and provide educators with a lens to enable them to integrate the use of technology and to create more cognitively engaging and challenging tasks. They will also examine and consider how Depth of Knowledge offers a common language to understand "rigor," or cognitive demand, in assessments, as well as curricular units, lessons, and tasks.
