Purpose
To recognize, as a tribute to the late Joyce Fadem, Director of Governmental Relations, outstanding chapters in politics for their contributions to the education profession through political action.
Timetable
Nominations must be submitted to the Service Center Council chairperson postmarked no later than February 1, 2011.
Service Center Council nominations (up to five per Service Center Council) and certificate order forms for those selected should be forwarded by the SCC chairperson to the Awards Committee, CTA, Governmental Relations Division, 1118 10th Street, Sacramento, CA, 95814, and must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2011.
The Awards Committee will select the winners in March. The nominee certificates will be mailed to the Service Center Council chairpersons in April.The presentation of the Joyce Fadem Chapter-In-Politics Awards will occur at the June 2011 meeting of the CTA State Council of Education.
